Dear Parents,
Students may need:
· Headset with microphones (I have some, but they may want their own.)
· USB drive to store work from the Web 2.0 apps
· IMPORTANT – Please create a Google email account. I would prefer you help them set it up, so you will know their email and password.
With all things on the internet, children’s use should be monitored. I strongly suggest you sit with your child after the class and let them show you the sites we have visited. Many of these sites are used by teachers all over the US, but we don’t have control over advertisements or how often they change. I (and I hope also you) will engage your child in conversation about being a safe digital consumer and what they have learned in this class.
